A little about me

I am Tania Serra, a London-based artist and illustrator working in mixed media, with a focus on playful visual storytelling and children’s illustration. With a background in architecture, design, and traditional animation, my practice is grounded in strong drawing skills and a love for hand-crafted mark-making. I work from Studio 32 at Wimbledon Art Studios in London.

I work primarily with acrylics (love acrylic markers!), and wax pencils to create colourful, textured compositions infused with warmth and gentle humour. My work often celebrates small, curious, and joyful moments of everyday life, inviting viewers to slow down, notice details, and connect emotionally with the image.

Alongside my personal art practice, I collaborate with authors, publishers, and businesses, creating illustrations for both narrative-driven projects and brand storytelling. I am currently developing new children’s book projects and welcome opportunities for creative collaboration.
